Q Where are you located?
A : We are easy to find. We are located in an office building on the northwest corner of Webb Chapel and LBJ Freeway (I635) behind the Shell gas station. Take LBJ Freeway to the Webb Chapel exit and go north on Webb Chapel ½ block. Turn left at the first light, Maybrook Drive, to enter our parking lot. Q Can you make a commercial for my small business?
A : Yes. Our staff will work with you to develop and produce a commercial designed to meet your specific needs. The Video Group can handle all aspects of your commercial, from scriptwriting to the final distribution.
Q Explain your client editing process?
A : We offer editing services with an editor and self-editing. When a client edits with an editor, the editor edits the video per the customer's request. When self-editing, the editor instructs the client for about 15 minutes regarding how to use the equipment. The client then begins editing their video. If questions arise during the edit session, the editor is available to answer any questions the client may have.
Q Do I need to make an appointment for editing?
A : Yes. We schedule our work to assure our clients receive their projects on time and as promised.
Q I'm busy. How do I get my project to you?
A : We offer pick-up and delivery service, in the surrounding Dallas area, at reasonable rates. Clients may use UPS, US postal service, FedEx, Airborne and most other services to send and receive projects.
Q How do you prepare photos and slides for a photo essay?
A : We request that you arrange your photos/slides in the order you want them to appear on the video. Place numbers on post-it notes and place the post it notes on the front of the photos/slides appropriately. Then place the photos/slides in a plastic baggie for protection.
Q What music do you have available for photo essays?
A : We have mostly classical music. You may bring in music from your personal collection to be used on your photo essay.
Q What is your turn around time for most projects?
A : We have a normal 24-hour turnaround time. Some projects may require additional attention. Photo essays require 3-5 days for processing. Our specialty is RUSH service. If you need your project sooner, let us know!
Q Do you send out your work?
A : No. We have full duplication, production and editing facilities on premise.
Q How do you transfer old film reels?
A : We have a machine called an ELMO for film transfers. The ELMO allows us to output directly to video. As the film passes through the ELMO, it is cleaned and the iris may be adjusted for appropriate lighting.
Q Do you repair VCR's?
A : Not at this time.
Q Do you sell or rent movies?
A : Not at this time.
